I don’t think the negative response has anything to do with the equality aspect of true feminism.  In fact, I’m not sure that most people in the general public know that equal rights is even supposed to be attached to “feminism”.

A very loud and tenacious sect of modern-day “feminists” have absconded with the title and use it to demand and create, with brute force, inequality.  Inequality in the form of crushing men (purely because they are men)…and anyone else who doesn’t agree with them.  I have no doubt that experiences with these people is behind the results shown in the chart.
